In this selection of poetry I reflect on Judaeo-Christian and Pagan theistic concepts, as well as personal experience. I re-write Genesis twice in strongly metered verse, invoke Sophia and deal with God and Satan. The selection ends with a longer poem 'Plants', in which I question whether the language of the supernatural is the appropriate language with which to describe the English agricultural year, whilst indulging in supernatural language shamelessly.
